Terms of Service
Effective date: September 1, 2026
These Terms of Service govern the use of BrightHill Email Assistant (“the Application”), a private email-productivity automation operated by BrightHill Capital.
Authorized use
The Application is intended solely for use by its authorized user and any person expressly authorized by BrightHill Capital. Access may not be sold, transferred, shared, reverse-engineered, or used for an unlawful purpose.
Application functions
The Application may:
Review and classify new email messages.
Move newsletters and advertisements to designated folders or labels.
Prepare draft email responses for user review.
Create Todoist tasks from actionable messages.
Create calendar events from messages containing definite scheduling information.
Mark successfully processed messages as read.
Connect with Google, Microsoft, Apple, Todoist, OpenAI, n8n, and related infrastructure providers.
The Application is configured to prepare drafts rather than automatically send email replies.
User responsibility
The user is responsible for:
Reviewing every draft before sending it.
Verifying tasks, deadlines, calendar events, recipients, dates, times, and locations.
Maintaining accurate account credentials and permissions.
Protecting account access and promptly revoking credentials that may have been compromised.
Complying with the terms of each connected service.
Automated and artificial-intelligence output
Automated classifications, draft responses, tasks, and calendar events may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. The Application does not guarantee that every email will be processed or classified correctly.
Artificial-intelligence output must be reviewed by the user before it is relied upon or communicated to another person. The Application does not provide legal, tax, investment, medical, or other professional advice.
Availability
The Application is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Continuous or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Availability may be affected by internet service, cloud hosting, API limits, provider outages, expired credentials, software updates, or changes imposed by connected services.
Third-party services
The Application depends on third-party services that maintain their own terms, privacy policies, security practices, and availability commitments. BrightHill Capital does not control those services and is not responsible for their independent actions or outages.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrightHill Capital disclaims all express and implied warranties regarding the Application, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrightHill Capital will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the Application, including missed messages, inaccurate drafts, incorrect classifications, missed deadlines, duplicate or omitted tasks, and inaccurate calendar entries.
Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or terminated at any time for security, maintenance, legal, operational, or misuse-related reasons. The user may stop using the Application by disconnecting its credentials and disabling its n8n workflow.
Changes to these terms
These Terms may be updated when the Application, connected services, or applicable requirements change. Continued use after updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
